Oman Air has launched the region's first combined automated reservation and check-in service at Salalah airport, a company statement said.
The new system has been implemented in cooperation with Sabre. It will help passengers complete their check-in procedures to 20 destinations in 11 countries worldwide with a total of 138 flights a week. Within the next six months the system will be introduced at all Oman Air stations.
Oman Air CEO, Abdurrahman bin Harith Al Busaidy said the airline's first priority while upgrading any system is passenger convenience. In addition, extra benefits will be achieved such as staff productivity and cost reduction.
