The New Year marked the 10th anniversary for JW Marriott, Dubai as it gears up to partake in the DSF 2003 extravaganza. It was established in Dubai in 1993. This being a significant mark for the hotel, it wishes to involve all stakeholders in the celebrations, which will escalate over the months leading to the climax in October.

The hotel first opened with 220 bedrooms, four restaurants, three meeting-rooms and one ballroom. Today there are 344 rooms and the hotel boasts 10

The exterior serves to increase the impact of the spacious warmly lit lobby, whose structure comprises wood, stone and marble. Conveniently located in the well-established business district of Deira, the hotel is only ten minutes from Dubai International Airport and the Creek Golf and Yacht Club.
The two Executive Floors are complete with check-in facilities, a luxurious guest lounge and a fully equipped Business Center with Internet access. Catering to another sector of the travelling public, the hotel is also designed to welcome physically challenged guests. The lifts include numbers in braille; every area is accessible by ramps; and bathrooms, including shower cubicles, in several guestrooms have been modified.
The Hotel offers over 31,000 sq ft of meeting and conference space, including two column-free ballrooms, each divisible into two and seven salons respectively. Adjacent independent reception areas are ideal for up to 34 people. Eleven other flexible function rooms are also available along with state-of-the-art audiovisual.
Griffins Health Club, on the fifth floor of the Hotel provides two international standard squash courts, a fully equipped gym and Planet Cardio (the first cardiovascular workout room in Dubai).
