Hilton International has announced three new senior appointments in the Gulf region.
The hotel chain has named Melissa Buchanan the new regional marketing manager. Brian Connelly is now general manager of the Hilton Dubai Jumeirah and Mohamed Hamza is general manager of the Hilton Fujairah. Buchanan will be based at Hilton's regional base in Dubai Internet City and will work with the regional director of sales and marketing, to drive the brand's marketing activities. With 13 years in marketing and advertising, British-born Buchanan has worked in the GCC since 1997. Brian Connelly, a seasoned hotelier with 25 years in hospitality industry, worked with a number of prestigious hotel chains across the Far East and USA. He joined Hilton last year. UAE citizen Mohamed Hassan Hamza has been with the Hilton for the last 12 years.
