Cyprus Airways is to add an extra Dubai-Larnaca flight this year to meet the demand for seats on the sector.
The non-stop flight will be available from April 1 till October 29, said regional chief Stavros Kyprianou.
The new addition, which will increase the flights to and from the UAE to three a week, has initially been scheduled for Tuesdays.
The airline now has return flights on Thursdays and Sundays. An Airbus A-319 will continue to service the Dubai route.
Kyprianou said Cyprair, the airline's travel arm, was planning to introduce more holiday packages to lure more visitors from the Gulf.
