Set to open for its first guests at the beginning of December, the 218-room Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort is lining up a festive programme to launch its resort facilities in style.
According to hotel manager, Patrick Antaki, the December launch date means UAE residents can take the opportunity to visit the resort at leisure. The hotel, a joint venture between Emirates Airline and the Hotel and Resort Investment Company, features the UAE's largest freeform swimming pool set amid the landscaped gardens, as well as a dive centre operated by Al Boom Marine. It also has a dedicated Penguin Village for children, as well as enjoying a prime location on the white sands of the two kilometre Al Aqah beach.
