Hilton Hotel's guest reward programme - Hilton HHonors - has 10.5 million members worldwide with over 95,000 members in the Middle East.
The programme is valid at over 2,400 Hilton Hotels worldwide, including Hilton, Conrad, Doubletree, Embassy Suites Hotels, Hampton Inn, Hampton Inn and Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites and Scandic Hotels.
It also has over 60 airline partners worldwide. Partners in the Middle East include Emirates Airline, Qatar Airways, Saudi Arabian Airlines, Gulf Air Company and Kuwait Airways.
The Hilton HHonors is the only hotel programme to offer both hotel points and airline miles for the same stay.
The programmes Reward Exchange scheme is valid on only a few airlines, but allows members to exchange points for miles and miles for points.
There are a number of benefits an HHonor member can avail of in any of the Hilton International hotels: Free weekday newspaper, spouse stays free, in-room alarm clock, bottle of mineral water, expedited check-in/check-out, mutual fund, late check-out on request and ongoing communications (monthly statements and quarterly newsletters).
There are three types of HHonors membership:
l Silver members get 15 per cent bonus points on all stays, complimentary health club privileges
l Gold members get 25 per cent bonus points on all stays and upgrade to best available room and complimentary health club privileges
l Diamond members get 50 per cent bonus points on all stays and upgrade to best available room, guaranteed room reservation, reward blackout date exemption, and complimentary health club privileges.
In order to qualify for the above categories guests must have four paid stays or 10 nights in a calendar year (Silver), 16 paid stays or 36 nights in a calendar year (Gold), or 28 paid stays or 60 nights in a calendar year
HHonors plans for the next year include the introduction of more non-airline partners - financial, retail, telcom.
