UK-based airline Virgin Atlantic will deploy applications from the Oracle E-Business Suite.
The modules - Financials, Human Resources, Payroll and iLearning - will be rolled out across Virgin Atlantic's UK operations and international offices comprising the US, the Caribbean, Africa, India and the Far East. Virgin Atlantic says it chose Oracle because of the foreseen cost and service benefits of having a single integrated e-business system. The applications will give airline personnel access to business and personal information online.
