Oman Air has launched several packages, including safaris, to its new destinations in Tanzania and Kenya.
Saleh Issa Al Kindy, the airline's country manager for Qatar and Bahrain, said the airline has tied up with a "reputed" ground handler in the two countries.
He noted that the two East African countries have many tourist attractions and Gulf nationals as well as expatriates travel there on leisure.
The new packages include accommodation, all land arrangements including game viewing opportunities, and airport transfers.
Some packages also include domestic flying.
There are different packages, ranging in duration and destination. Three of them are available to Dar-es-Salaam and includes the Short Selous Safari of four nights, and Kilimanjaro Climb Rongai Route, lasting eight days.
The Omani carrier also offers packages to Kenya, where the attractions include Lake Victoria, the Masai Mara Reserve, Mount Kenya, Nairobi National Park, Buffalo Springs, and Meru National Park.
