A new five-star club resort is currently being developed east of the Marina Club in Manama, Bahrain.
The Palm Beach is set to open during the second quarter of 2003.
The project is being developed by Akram Miknas, president and chief executive officer of advertising agency Promoseven Holdings.
With an area of 10,000 sqare metres, Palm Beach will offer a private beach, a swimming pool, a coffee shop and two restaurants.
There will be a wide range of water sports and other activities.
Miknas says the club will offer its facilities to guests of five-star hotels in the country and offer memberships at reasonable rates.
The City Centre Group, which Miknas set up two years ago, will manage the property.
The group also manages outlets such as City Centre Hotel, Little Camelot, Barnaby Joe's, and JJ Murphy's Irish Pub.
