Metropolitans get face-lift

The Metropolitan Hotel and the Metropolitan Resort and Beach Club in Dubai are undergoing major renovation programmes, adding new facilities for customers.

The facelift involves the renovation of the 103 rooms and suites of Metropolitan Resort & Beach Club, which includes all furniture, fabrics, bathroom fixtures, wallpaper, curtains, and carpets.

The existing 197-room Metropolitan Hotel Dubai is also being renovated, offering new facilities for the hotel's guests.

The renovations are expected to cost a total of Dh20 million.

Metropolitan Hotels International is striving to meet the growing demand in the Gulf region with sales offices in Abu Dhabi, Doha, Kuwait and Jeddah. Due to the business potential and volume in Saudi Arabia, the Group has opened another two sales offices in Riyadh and Jeddah to meet the demands of families, business and leisure travellers from the Kingdom.

Another highlight is the announcement of the inclusion of Metropolitan Palace Hotel, Dubai and Metropolitan Palace Hotel, Beirut as members in SRS World Hotels. During the Holy month of Ramadan, the Metropolitan Hotel Dubai, the Metropolitan Resort & Beach Club, the Metropolitan Deira Hotel, and the Metropolitan Palace Hotel are offering a 50 per cent discount on room rack rates.

In addition, the Metropolitan Palace Hotel offers a complimentary Iftar voucher per person for a minimum three nights stay.

The Metropolitan Palace Hotel has a variety of Ramadan favorites lined up with an Iftar buffet at Al Shindagah Restaurant, for Dh65. In addition, guests can enjoy traditional music while having shisha and coffee on the rooftop at Al Bazarkan cafŽ overlooking Dubai City.

A special Corporate Iftar is also available for all those who wish to entertain clients. For every 30 pax, they will get five pax free of charge.

In addition to a Suhur menu obtainable until dawn where every 20 pax, get 5 pax free.
