Hertz expansion in focus

The Middle East's growing network of Hertz car rental services will be highlighted for a worldwide travel trade audience in the UK next month.

Hertz, the world's largest car rental company, will have a major presence at WTM.

"The Middle East offers continued potential for growth of car rental services in terms of both business and leisure travellers as well as long-term corporate rental agreements," said John Andrews, director associations, GSA, Middle East, Hertz Europe.

"Our message to the travel trade at WTM will be that those visiting the Middle East have the assurance that Hertz operations right across the region offer the same quality of service that business and leisure travellers have come to expect around the world."

At WTM, Hertz will promote 'World on Wheels', a pre-paid leisure car rental product. Customers book and pay for their car rental in US dollars in advance, enjoying attractive savings and time-saving convenience. On arrival at their destination, drivers simply present their licence, pre-paid voucher and credit card.

The service offers unlimited mileage, collision damage waiver, theft protection, airport service charges and 24-hour roadside assistance.

New Hertz branches in the Middle East include two locations in Saudi Arabia and one in Kuwait.

Hertz franchises across the Middle East are upgrading and expanding fleets.
