The Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) Organising Committee will begin its international promotion campaign in Beirut, and continue with a focus on the promising new markets of Kenya and the Far East.
DSF 2003 will be held from January 15 to February 15, in line with the theme 'One World One Family One Festival'.
At a committee meeting, DSF 2003 CEO Saeed Mohammed Al Nabouda explained the vision of Crown Prince of Dubai, General Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, that creative and quality events should be introduced to make the eighth DSF the best so far and help further enhance Dubai's image as a tourism destination and a hub for innovation and excellence.
Each member of the committee gave an outline of the events and services they would offer to visitors during DSF 2003. The meeting discussed ways of promoting DSF 2003 and the responsibilities of each committee to coordinate with each other so that the advertising and marketing plans could be utilised more efficiently and with greater impact.
