Thrifty car hire in Jordan is offering visitors novel pre-paid and time-share promotions, providing convenience and price advantage.
Both the programmes are based on pre-buying concept, says Thrifty's sales manager Jeff Abdel Massih.
"By paying for a minimum of 50 vouchers in advance, you will be able to utilise Thrifty's brand new fleet at a discounted rate," said Massih explaining the pre-paid programme.
He said customers can purchase a set of 50 or 100 vouchers and take advantage of the discounted rates.
Under the time share programme, customers are given an option of specifying the number of hours or days that they intend to use the car at a set price.
"By agreeing to an average price that will be charged per hour/day, you will be able to utilise Thrifty's fleet, at a set price, regardless of seasonality or category," said Massih.
He said since its establishment in 1996, the Thrifty franchise in Jordan has become a leading hire car company. It offers a fleet of over 600 cars and has a client list that features some of the major companies in Jordan.
Massih said Thrifty's fleet of economy, med and full size cars besides luxury and utility vehicles include the latest models from a range of international companies including Toyota, Daihatsu and Mercedes.
"Thanks to our leasing company, we change our cars every six months to a year, and increase our stock during the high season and decrease accordingly. Because of this strategy, we are able to give the same price all year round and always have a car available for any customer," said Massih.
Thrifty operates out of its head office Amman which provides 24-hours service and also has a branch office Aqaba.
Additional services provided by Thrifty include chauffeured tours to Jordan's major sites, including Amman, Jerash, Ajloun, Desert Castles, Petra, the Dead Sea, Aqaba, Wadi Rum, Mount Nebo, Pella, and Kan Zaman.
The franchise is owned by Al-Zimam Trading Company Ltd.
