The Mzaar Inter-Continental Resort in Lebanon, the first top-class ski resort facility of its kind in the Middle East and Africa, offers a wide range of health and beauty treatments in its exclusive balneotherapy spa.

The 1,200 sq m spa, Les Thermes du Mzaar, directly linked to the resort, offers the latest in state-of-the-art facilities and professional staff, with 16 treatment rooms, a comprehensive range of body treatments, including electrotherapy, pressotherapy, algotherapy, thalassotherapy, jet showers, face-care, massage rooms, and analytic pool.

There are also two saunas and two steam rooms for ladies and gents, a large gymnasium, as well as relaxation rooms.

Guests can take advantage of a variety of specially designed beauty and slimming treatments, all administered by the hotel's highly experienced beauty therapists, while the spa has partnered with Christian Dior and Thalgo for a range of beauty products and balneotherapy treatments.

"Our new spa further enhances the resort's image and increases our appeal to leisure and business travellers from the region and overseas, as well as non-residents," said the resort's general manager, William Latour.

Offering superb skiing opportunities just an hour's drive from Beirut, the resort gives Middle East travellers an attractive alternative to the established European skiing destinations.

The resort also offers a new state-of-the-art auditorium and a 100-seat cinema.

Located at the heart of the Mzaar 2000 ski complex, the Mzaar InterContinental Resort, with 93 rooms and suites, offers a wide range of winter and summer recreational activities.
