Radisson SAS Muscat says it will lay extra emphasis on the Iftar buffet this Ramadan.
"There will be extra focus on the Iftar Buffet at the Radisson SAS this year, where we aim to erect traditional tents and take advantage of the excellent climate," said sales and marketing director Marc Fletcher. The hotel will be offering a special rate of RO25 ($65) for a single room and RO30 ($77) for a double room, both including a super buffet breakfast. The offer will be available from November 6 to December 10. Fletcher said the hotel recorded an "excellent" occupancy rate of 70 per cent last Ramadan, and was looking forward to notching-up another good year during the 2002 holy month. Though there was little change in business travel during the season, there was an increase in leisure tourism, he said. "The leisure tourism sector is undergoing a period of steady growth in Oman," said Fletcher.
