Frank Reichenbach has been appointed general manager of the new Movenpick Hotel & Resort in Beirut.
The 46-year-old Swiss national has gained extensive experience in the hotel business after completing his studies at the Lausanne Hotel School. From 1986 to 1988 he was resident manager at the Hong Kong Hotel. He was in charge of the Shangri-La Sentosa Resort in Singapore for three years and was later senior vice-president responsible for operations of the Metroplex Holding, a hotel chain with its headquarters in Kuala Lumpur. Reichenbach has also acted as principal of the Cesar Ritz Hotel School in Switzerland. Most recently, he was COO hospitality for the Sonnenhof AG in Berne and was responsible for three private clinics.
