Ajman Kempinski Hotel & Resort has appointed Andres Araya as executive assistant manager/director of food & beverage.
Chilean born Araya started his career in the hospitality industry 16 years ago. Before moving to Ajman, he was the F&B director at Conrad Cairo Hotel.
For the last decade Araya has headed the F & B departments of St Regis Aspen, Colorado, Sheraton Maria Isabel, Mexico City, the six-star Palace of the Lost City, South Africa, and the Sheraton San Cristobal, Chile.
Araya, 37, has certification in hospitality management from Cornell University and a diploma in tourism from the Centre of Tourism Studies, Santiago, Chile. He speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese.
