Le Jeddah Meridien has renovated its popular Le Mirage Health Club, adding two more work out rooms to improve service and add more value to clients.
The health club now features, apart from a free weight room with state-of-the-art nautilus equipment, two separate workout rooms for stretching and aerobic exercise as well a separate area for cardiovascular exercises.
Qualified instructors are available to provide guidance and assistance, the hotel said.
The expansion cost SR80,000 ($21,200) and added 80 sq m of space to the club. "The initial customer response was absolutely fantastic and I reckon, we will recoup our investment within the next 12 months," said hotel general manager Dietmar Kielnhofer.
Le Mirage Health Club also features two championship squash courts, a sauna, steam room, a floodlit tennis court and a large outdoor pool.
Besides the upgrade at the health club, the hotel said it is investing huge amounts of money to improve facilities as part of its pursuit of service excellence and to become the leading business hotel not only in Jeddah but in Saudi Arabia.
Some of these projects are the ongoing re-painting of the hotel structure, La Brasserie and The Texan Restaurant outside the entrance, and the new boutique shop located in the lobby area.
