Jumeirah International, has appointed Guy Crawford as its corporate director of operations, based in the group's corporate office in Dubai.
Briton Crawford, aged 50, joined Jumeirah International from Heritage/Macdonald Hotels where he held the position of managing director, overseeing the extensive portfolio of over 100 hotels for the group in the UK and its strategic alliance with Grandes Etapes luxury hotels in France. Before that, he was the managing director of Heritage Hotels, a division of the Forte Hotel Group. He has held various senior management positions during his 22 years with the Forte and Le Meridien Hotel groups and has been based in South America, Monaco, Germany, France, UK, Morocco, the Bahamas and Belgium. He has over 30 years of luxury hospitality management experience.
