The organiser of the World Travel Market (WTM) has embarked on its biggest planning initiative ever to ensure visitors and exhibitors can travel easily, conveniently and quickly to the event's new home - ExCeL - in London Docklands.

By the time the doors open on November 11, a dedicated WTM Transport Group will have been planning and preparing for the moment for 18 months.

Members of the group have been working with airlines, airports, hotels, public transport providers and ExCeL's management to ensure that nothing is left to chance. They have also sought advice from London's public transport commissioner Bob Kiley.

Discounted flights and hotels can be arranged via World Travel Market's website and public transport between ExCeL and central London can be booked in advance.

There is also a unique, pre-bookable World Travel Market Visitor Travelcard, at special rates, which can be received in advance and used on all London public transport. The card costs £16 ($25) for three days and £27 for seven days.
