Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre’s new website

THE Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre has upgraded its website,, with new features to enhance the user experience and connectivity for its global clientele.

While the site’s eye-catching homepage as well as cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility have been retained, the centre has taken advantage of new technologies to ease navigation and introduce new, customised features for users planning an event.

“We now have an ‘Organise an Event’ search function at the bottom of the page to guide interested parties beyond the homepage with minimum fuss and greater ease”, explains an enthusiastic Angeline Lue, the centre’s director of sales and marketing.

In addition to this, browsing capabilities and user-friendliness of the site have been boosted. An event profiler results page and product page allows users to refine their search at the click of a button and gain instant access to content relating to the different segments i.e., Association Conventions & Conferences, Banquets & Functions, Corporate Meetings & Events, Entertainment & Concerts, Exhibitions and Small Meetings, and their respective product offerings.

“We also wanted the site to be both a key information touch-point for our global clientele and a marketing tool,” says Lue. “So new features such as dedicated email addresses for the sales team and individually configured to each event type mean sales enquiries can reach us in real time and prompt a faster response. All this will help us better serve our clients whilst reaffirming our world-class reputation and position as Malaysia’s premier convention facility.”

The latest upgrades are in addition to the previous mainstay features of a comprehensive take on the centre’s facilities, value packages, the destination and a side bar for easy access to key corporate information including the centre’s policy on environment, social sustainability, safety and health, food safety and quality, halal food, the latest corporate social responsibility (CSR) report and other pertinent information like awards and certifications, calendar of events, media releases, e-SALAM (e-newsletter), testimonials, corporate video and YouTube videos.
