Holidaymakers and business travellers visiting Dubai can take advantage of summer specials being offered by the Sheraton properties - without sacrificing their standard of accommodation.
Located in the heart of Dubai, the Sheraton Deira Hotel & Towers is offering the special rate of Dh250 ($63) per night for a single room and Dhs 275 per night for a double room. Rates are valid until the end of August and are subject to 10 per cent service charge and 10 per cent municipality tax.
But there's more to the offer than just reduced-price accommodation, says a hotel spokesperson.
Guests can also take advantage of complimentary airport transfers; complimentary use of the swimming pool and health club facilities; access and transport to beach club facilities; late check-out until 4pm; upgrade to a higher category of room, upon availability and free stay for one child sharing existing bedding with parents.
Also typical of the special summer deals is Four Points by Sheraton Bur Dubai's weekend package valid for Thursday and Friday nights only and running until September 15.
The promotion offers a double classic room at Dh222 inclusive of all taxes and buffet breakfast. A single room is offered at Dh200 only.
Guests who stay at these rates get complimentary airport transfers, welcome fruit basket in the room, free entry to the hotel's Copacabanna nightclub, complimentary use of the healthclub facilities and a 25 per cent discount on Budget rent-a-car services.
In addition, two children under 12 can stay free of charge using the existing bedding plus they also get a 50 per cent discount on meals.
On the Jumeirah Beach, another attractive "Summer Break" special has been designed by the Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort & Towers, to give guests a combination of reduced rates and complimentary extras.
The price of Dh350 for a single or double room is valid until August 30 and includes service charge, taxes and airport transfers. They also include a complimentary night for every three nights paid and children below 12 share the room free of charge with their parents or get a 50 per cent discount on the rate if occupying a separate room.
In addition, guests are free to use the hotel's beautiful beach, outdoor pool and health club facilities.
Another advantage for families to mark the start of the summer season is complimentary use of the hotel's Pirate kid's club, which will keep children entertained with puzzles, drawing, games, and various competitions while parents can relax.
Elena Mendez, director of public relations for the Sheraton Hotels in Dubai, said the hotels' summer offers create an ideal opportunity to experience Dubai with great value for money.
"These are all excellent promotions that enable our guests to enjoy relatively inexpensively the best that Dubai has to offer, while still staying at top-of-the-line hotels," she said.
