Metropolitan lines up value breaks Dubai-based

Metropolitan Hotels group is offering special summer rates to attract more visitors to the emirate.

The group which operates four properties in Dubai besides a hotel in Beirut and UK, says it is also offering a variety of food and beverage promotions at its outlets this summer.

The Metropolitan Palace Hotel, a five star property in the heart of Dubai, is offering attractive room rates of Dh390 ($106) for a single and double occupancy until September 30.

The Metropolitan Hotel Dubai on Shaikh Zayed Road and the Metropolitan Resort & Beach Club will offer Dh330 net for a single and double occupancy, while the Metropolitan Deira hotel will offer Dh250 net for a single and double room.

The group is also taking part in the Dubai For Free promotion during the summer surprises festival which runs until August 31.

During DSS, the Metropolitan Palace is offering rooms at Dh500 net per night while Metropolitan Hotel Dubai is offering rooms at Dh400 for a minimum three nights stay to have a one free night stay which can be availed by booking through a travel agent.

In addition, the hotel is providing a welcome drink on arrival, a complimentary fruit basket and a free access to Metropolitan Beach facilities with scheduled transfers.

Meanwhile, the Metropolitan on Shaikh Zayed Road and the Metropolitan Resort & Beach Club in Jumeirah are undergoing major renovation programs adding new facilities this summer according to director of operations Ahmed Saleh.

The facelift involves renovation of the 103 rooms and suites at the Jumeirah hotel which includes all furniture, fabrics, bathroom fixtures, wall paper, curtains carpets, upgrade all technology systems.

The lobby lounges, public areas and the restaurants will receive a complete new look, as well improved facilities for the resortÕs leisure guests.

The existing 197 room Metropolitan Hotel Dubai will also be totally renovated offering new facilities.

These renovations are expected to cost a total of Dh 20 million.

The group opened two new sales offices in Riyadh and Jeddah in April as part of its efforts to meet the growing demand in the region. It also has sales offices in Abu Dhabi, Doha and Kuwait.
