SWISS-Belhotel International returned to Arabian Travel Market (ATM) to highlight its ambitious expansion plans for the Middle East.
Bahrain will be the next Gulf state to welcome the Swiss-Belhotel brand with the flagship Swiss-Belhotel Seef finalising its pre-opening programme ahead of an early 2014 launch. This will be followed by the first Swiss-Belinn branded property in Muscat, Oman at the end of 2013.
“Our network now covers 100 hotels and under-development projects in 12 countries, and the Middle East is one of the fastest-growing regions as part of our global expansion. Oman and Bahrain are both pushing ahead with ambitious agendas for tourism, and this fits perfectly with our own regional strategy,” said Swiss-Belhotel International president and chairman Gavin Faull.
Swiss-Belhotel will also shortly reveal details of its management agreement to operate a 110-room property in the heart of Erbil in Northern Iraq.
