The Carlton Al Moaibed Hotel in Al Khobar is offering up to 50 per cent discount on its room rates to attract visitors to Saudi Arabia for the annual Eastern Province Summer Festival.
Besides room rate discounts of between 35 per cent and 50 per cent, the hotel is also offering 15 per cent off on food at its outlets during the festival from June 12 to July 12.
The hotel has also lined up a special summer package of three nights stay for the price of two - SR299 ($80) for single or double occupancy and two children free of charge or SR399 inclusive of a buffet breakfast at the Mediterraneo Restaurant. The summer package is valid until September 6.
Located between three main cities - Dammam, Al-Khobar, and Dhahran - in the heart of the Eastern Province, the hotel caters primarily to business travellers and has recorded an average occupancy of about 70 per cent over the past few years, says general manager George Kerbage.
The Carlton Al Moaibed is also a convenient destination for business travellers from neighbouring Bahrain, being just 40 minutes drive across the King Fahad Causeway.
The hotel offers 153 deluxe guest rooms, 18 executive suites, 12 duplex suites, a Presidential suite and nine villas.
