HERTZ car rental customers from the Middle East travelling to Italy will be able to take advantage of a brand new mobile wi-fi service offering unprecedented convenience whilst driving on the Mediterranean country’s rustic roads. Called Hertz Mobile wi-fi, the pocket size device is offered in collaboration with Wind Mobile, enabling Hertz customers to enjoy secure 24/7 internet connectivity anywhere in Italy. The new service follows the success of the Hertz Mobile wi-fi offering in the UK, Spain and the Canary Islands, Australia and New Zealand.
Hertz customers can browse at high speed (up to 21 Mbps) with unlimited data traffic for downloading and uploading. They can also considerably reduce the cost of calls and texts thanks to some popular and free mobile apps available on Google Play and Apple stores, as well as get all the benefits of an “always on” internet connection during their holiday or business trip.
