THE five-star Salalah Marriott Resort in the Dhofar region in Southern Oman recently completed two successful years of operation.

The 237-room resort offers guests a choice of spacious and well-appointed rooms within the main building and 51 beach side chalets including studio, one-and two-bedrooms. The resort has gained the reputation of a well-established location for leisure and cultural activities of the local community, as well as a preferred meeting and event destination in Dhofar.

As part of Marriott’s “Spirit to Serve” culture, the Salalah Marriott Resort also holds regular events like beach clean-ups, educational events with local schools and institutions and a recycling campaign, to show its true appreciation and to contribute its share to the local community of Mirbat.

The Salalah Marriott Resort in Mirbat is now offering special rates over Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr with double deluxe room rates starting from RO55 ($142) until August 14 and RO100 ($259) between August 15 and 25,. The rates are inclusive of breakfast for two and 17 per cent tax.

The five-star hotel is looking to bank on the Khareef season when the temperatures drop and a majority of travellers from the region flock to Salalah to escape the heat.
