EVENT organisers are increasingly looking to define themselves through unique meeting and events venues according to the Ferrari World Abu Dhabi team, who participated at the recently concluded Gulf Incentive, Business Travel and Meetings (GIBTM) Exhibition in Abu Dhabi.

The region’s premier family entertainment destination says corporate groups are sold on including Ferrari World Abu Dhabi within their UAE tourism portfolio as it enjoys international brand recognition and is safe and appealing to all ages and groups with diverse interests. Not only this; the Park is increasingly attracting another visitor profile – companies keen to explore more creative and inspiring Mice destinations that help them stand out from the crowd.

The UAE was named among the top 10 Mice destinations globally according to the latest GIBTM Middle East Meetings Industry Research report which shows Abu Dhabi expects to attract 48 per cent of all events planned in the Middle East and North Africa in 2012.

“We offer so much more than the standard meeting experience,” says Raquel Lopez, director of marketing and sales, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. “Ferrari World Abu Dhabi has more than 3,000 sq m of events space and we can customise packages on different scales ranging from the privatisation of individual attractions to creating full-day park privatisation packages. The goal is to create something highly memorable, exciting and unique.”

She added: “We have hosted several highly successful events and corporate product launches that really grabbed headlines last year for their ability to offer brands a unique platform to convey their messages in a fun and exciting way. The Mice arena is very competitive and companies are increasingly looking for ways to differentiate themselves. Within the Mice industry there is a huge appetite for unusual venues – Ferrari World Abu Dhabi incorporates these elements of impressiveness and novelty within a huge range of event space that is inspiring and striking.”
