ROYAL Jet will cater to the demands of Jordan’s competitive business aviation sector through its long term business plans for the Hashemite Kingdom. The airline appointed Takhzeen Aerospace as its General Sales Agent (GSA) for Jordan, and as the first step in its commitment to the country’s business aviation sector, a signing ceremony was held between Fahad Mohammed Wali Karmostaji, vice president commercial, Royal Jet and Ammar Balkar, managing partner, Takhzeen Aerospace. The appointment of Takhzeen Aerospace as Royal Jet’s GSA in Jordan is likewise aimed at pushing further its world-renowned and award-winning ultra luxury travel offerings, as well as its wide ranging aviation services to the Jordanian market. With an excellent business performance for 2011 through its worldwide flight operations, Royal Jet has been at the forefront of the regional executive travel market and hopes to translate some of the successes into positive growth for its Jordan operations.

Takhzeen Aerospace, a well-established and widely-known brand in Jordan’s aviation industry, will be primarily responsible for the promotion, marketing and sales of Royal Jet’s core offerings consisting of luxury VIP Aircraft Charter, Medical Evacuation Services, Fixed Base Operations (FBO) / VIP Terminal at Abu Dhabi International Airport, Aircraft Management and Acquisition Consultancy and Charter Brokerage.

“For Royal Jet, the entry into Jordan is geographically compelling,” said Shane O’Hare, president and CEO of Royal Jet. “It will enable customers in the country to unlock the many benefits and privileges of private jet travel. We hope to replicate in Jordan, the successes Royal Jet has had elsewhere in the region and the world, and hope that local businesses can take advantage of our diverse products and services.”

Consistent with Royal Jet’s expansion plans into key markets within the region and across the globe, the partnership with Takhzeen Aerospace follows Royal Jet’s commencement of operations in Saudi Arabia in 2009 in partnership with ARABASCO – the premier Fixed Based Operations (FBO) and maintenance company in the kingdom – as well as the appointments of Qurum Business Group in Oman and Aviation Services Management (ASM) in India as its GSAs. The current fleet of Royal Jet consists of six Boeing Business Jets (BBJ), which makes them the world’s largest single BBJ operator; two mid-range Gulfstream 300s; a long-range Gulfstream IVSP; a Lineage 1000 and a Learjet 60. And with an aim significantly increasing the size and flexibility of its fleet to 20 aircraft by 2015 in order to further enhance flexibility of product offering to customers, Takhzeen Aerospace will also be tasked with promoting and marketing Royal Jet’s aircraft to the Jordanian market.

“Royal Jet is a perfect fit for Jordan’s senior business travellers and this opportunity will allow us to expand our services and become a leader in the fast-growing luxury and leisure travel industry,” Balkar remarked. “At the same time, it will address emergency medical requirements and provide a wide choice of medical ambulance facilities to the Jordanian community during medical emergencies.
