Twenty seven year-old hotelier Amal Oumasse was not only recently recognised by the Dubai Government when she was selected as an Assessor of the prestigious Dubai Quality Awards, but shortly after, was promoted to deputy director of sales and marketing for the Sheraton Deira Hotel & Towers.
Oumasse, who is a graduate from the International High Institute of Tourism in Paris, has been working for the Sheraton Deira since October 1999 and speaks six languages namely Arabic, French, English, German, Spanish and Italian.
She arrived at the hotel in the position of sales and marketing executive and has been responsible for looking after some of the hotel's most important accounts.
