The Porsche Museum Stuttgart will exhibit for the first time

STUTTGART, as a congress destination, is one of the 10 most attractive venues in Germany and this year the capital of Baden-Württemberg is represented by nine partners from the congress sector for the first time with a stand of its own at Imex in Frankfurt.

‘Innovation meets Tradition’ is the banner under which the Stuttgart Convention Bureau and its top-calibre partners will present their offers at the show.

Taking part for the first time will be the Forum am Schlosspark Ludwigsburg, the Neckar Forum Esslingen, the Congress Centres of Böblingen / Sindelfingen, the Hotel Le Méridien Stuttgart, the Mövenpick Hotel Stuttgart-Airport and the Porsche Museum. Other exhibitors at the joint stand are the Kultur- und Kongresszentrum Liederhalle and the ICS International Congress Center Stuttgart.

The ICS is one of Germany’s biggest convention centres. With its flexible room configuration, a congress auditorium for 3,000 participants, an exhibition hall holding 5,000 and an additional conference area for up to 2,000 visitors, it can accommodate up to 10,000 conference delegates in all. Its proximity to the Messe Stuttgart trade fair centre, Stuttgart International Airport and the Mövenpick Hotel Stuttgart-Airport makes the ICS a congress venue of conveniently short distances.

The Mövenpick Hotel Stuttgart-Airport is Germany’s second most popular hotel for international business travellers offering 326 comfortable rooms, eight boardrooms, four conference rooms and a ballroom on 564 sq m which can accommodate up to 500 guests.

For many years now the Kultur- und Kongresszentrum (Culture and Congress Centre) Liederhalle has enjoyed an outstanding reputation as a location for business and cultural events. Its central position in the heart of Stuttgart, a direct link to a four-star hotel and the diversity of the adjacent Bosch Areal make it a unique ‘congress city in the heart of town’.

Situated on Stuttgart’s Palace Gardens, the stylish Hotel Le Méridien provides a creative and cosmopolitan setting for events with up to 800 participants. Its 292 rooms and suites impress with their modern elegance. In addition, the hotel is renowned both for its excellent cuisine and for its particular showpiece, Le Spa.

The Forum am Schlosspark Ludwigsburg is in the complex of Ludwigsburg Royal Palace, the palace gardens and the pleasure palaces of Favorite and Monrepos. Its main auditorium can seat up to 1,248.

The Neckar Forum Esslingen stands out by virtue of its central location in the medieval ambience of the old town and can accommodate up to 1,200 visitors and the Congress Centres of Böblingen / Sindelfingen are surrounded by picturesque lakes and idyllic parks; their main halls can seat 1,200 and 1,176 respectively.

The Porsche Museum does full justice to the prestigious reputation of the brand. Both the museum’s superb architecture and its exhibits reflect Porsche’s distinctive characteristics. The museum is also an outstanding venue for conferences, meetings and events. Its extensive conference rooms and exclusive cuisine can also be booked for meetings, business functions and private events with up to 300 guests  and offer flexible utilisation independent of the museum’s regular opening times.

Stuttgart Convention Bureau represents the congress region of Stuttgart, which has some 250 events centres, conference hotels and special locations at its disposal. The Convention Bureau is the main contact address for events organisers from Germany and abroad. It provides a comprehensive service package for everything to do with congresses and meetings of all kinds, from tailor-made proposals, the planning of supporting events to booking accommodation or supplying congress tickets for local public transport facilities.
