The Diplomat Radisson SAS Hotel, Bahrain, has appointed Bashar Al Kateb as its first Arabic-speaking public relations manager.
The 25-year-old Syrian previously worked in sales and marketing for the five-star Manama hotel and as a front office and food and beverage trainee at hotels in Saudi Arabia, Syria and Cyprus. Al Kateb has a BA in hotel and hospitality management from Intercollege Larnaca in Cyprus.
