Safir Bahrain rings in changes with rebrand

BAHRAIN’S Safir Hotel is updating its corporate image with a new logo and everyone will be working together to standardise the brand image.

Having been in operation 10 years, the hotel was the first in Bahrain to receive ISO and BSI certification simultaneously for its quality performance and health and safety.

And 2011 promises to be a year for upgrading with Rogier van Zeventer, director of online revenue and marketing, explaining: “We believe that change is inevitable, but growth is intentional and we invite the people of Bahrain and our overseas guests to experience our fresh new identity.

“We feel that it is significant to upgrade ourselves for the coming decade and our mission is to gradually turn ourselves into a five-star property.”

The change will be gradual beginning with the new logo, which has been designed in purple to appeal to both men and women, and van Zeventer feels it will take off from there.

He said: “The first step to the transformation is the brand new logo which is more crisp and easy to identify with. Starting with something small doesn’t mean that’s all. From this small step we expect to see a snowball effect that will see us reach five-star capability.”
