Park mascots and Bruce Lee of Madame Tussauds take the tram ride

FIVE major Hong Kong attractions – Ocean Park Hong Kong, Ngong Ping 360, Hong Kong Wetland Park, The Peak Tram & Sky Terrace and Madame Tussauds Hong Kong – are celebrating winter festivities with locals  and tourists by jointly launching ‘Hong Kong Attractions Fun Deals’ with a customised ‘fun itinerary’ throughout 2011.

Sustaining the positive momentum of the programme in 2010, the attractions are extending their collaborative admission promotional programme for another year, with The Peak Tram & Sky Terrace as a new partner.

The programme allows guests who visit one of the five attractions to enjoy a 10 per cent admission discount when they present their ticket stubs at any of the other four attractions. The promotional period runs from January 1 to December 31, 2011, while the redemption period for valid tickets from the five attractions will be extended to January 31, 2012.

Hong Kong Attractions Fun Deals was very popular in 2010 with some 15,000 guests benefitting from the offer.

One suggested fun itinerary is a two-day excursion comprised of exciting activities. On day one, visitors can take The Peak Tram up to Sky Terrace and enjoy the breathtaking vistas of the sprawling city skyscrapers, the magnificent coastlines and the bustling Victoria Harbour. Then meet, interact and snap photos with more than 100 world-class celebrity wax figures at the star-studded Madame Tussauds Hong Kong and after visiting The Peak, visitors can enjoy a perfect finish to the day at the scenic Ocean Park where lovable giant pandas, dolphins and other magnificent marine life as well as thrill rides such as the newly-opened The Flash await.

Day two could be a visit to Ngong Ping 360 and Hong Kong Wetland Park. The Ngong Ping 360 cable car offers the chance to savour panoramic views of the blue and green Lantau North Country Park and the world’s tallest seated outdoor bronze Buddha, the Tian Tan Buddha statue, followed by a journey through the various habitats of Hong Kong Wetland Park which offers first-hand experience of exciting wildlife from egrets in the marshes to mudskippers in the mangroves.
