Metropolitan Hotels International is set to open two outlets in Saudi Arabia. The new hotels will opened by April.
The Al Habtoor-owned group, which already runs four hotels in Dubai, and one each in Lebanon and the UK, is in discussions to take hold of two hotels in the kingdom.
Already in the portfolio are Dubai-based Metropolitan Palace Hotel, Metropolitan Resort and Beach Club, Metropolitan Hotel and Metropolitan Deira Hotel, Metropolitan Palace Hotel in Beirut and Monkey Island Hotel in the UK.
The group recently launched an online reservation system.
Meanwhile, Metropolitan is offering 31 prizes for the 31 days of the Dubai Shopping Festival to diners at any of the restaurants at its hotels.
Guests dining at the restaurants in Metropolitan hotels in Dubai will be entitled to a "scratch and win" coupon for Dh100 ($27) spent at these outlets, a hotel statement said.
Diners can win instant prizes including dining vouchers under the "31 Days and 31 Prizes" promotion, the statement said.
All diners will also get a chance to take part in a Grand Raffle Draw to be held on March 31 and win three grand prizes.
The first winner will get a round-trip for two to Beirut , inclusive of a weekend stay at the luxurious Metropolitan Palace Hotel in the Lebanese capital.
The second winner will be entitled to dine free for one year at Metropolitan Hotels' outlets in Dubai and the third winner will get a one-year Family Health Club membership at the Metropolitan Resort & Beach Club.
