Swedish-born Jan Kirstein has been appointed general manager of the Sheraton Amman Al Nabil Hotel & Towers.
The 20-year veteran of the international hotel industry moves from Soma Bay in Egypt to his new posting.
Kirstein has been with Sheraton Hotels since 1982, starting as a sales executive in Stockholm and has since held management posts in Sweden, Norway, Cyprus, Turkey, Portugal and Tunisia before becoming general manager of the Sheraton Soma Bay in 1999.
Kirstein has a bachelor of economic science from Stockholm University and also studied French at University of Besancon.
