Hertz Qatar has said it will complete a major upgrading of its car rental fleet over the next two months by introducing a range of brand new cars, including the all-new 2002 Ford Explorer.

By the end of February, more than 50 per cent of vehicles available for rent or lease from Almana Rent A Car, the Hertz international franchisee in Qatar, will be 2002 models.

"The upgrading of our fleet is part of our commitment to provide the leading car rental services in Qatar, both for the local market, and for inbound business and leisure travellers," said Chris Liddicoat, general manager of Hertz Qatar.

New arrivals include the 2002 Ford Focus, Ford Taurus and Crown Victoria, as well as the Peugeot 206 and Peugeot 306.
