The Radisson SAS Golden Resort, Sharm El Sheikh, has appointed Egyptian Alaa Hamouda as director of sales with overall responsibility for the destination property's sales and marketing.
Hamouda, 37, joins from Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Egypt, where he was regional sales director. His hospitality industry experience includes sales positions at other major hotel chains such as Ritz Carlton, Inter-Continental and Marriott.
"Alaa's international experience and local know-how will be an asset to our innovative sales and promotional pushes as we strive to keep Sharm firmly on the international tourism map," said the resort's general manager Arthur de Snoo.
