Capella makes shopping easy
THE Breidenbacher Hof, a Capella Hotel, Dusseldorf, recently reopened with its original grandeur right in the heart of the Konigsallee, Dusseldorf’s famed avenue of premier shops and designer boutiques.
The Breidenbacher Hof also offers two in-house clinics. Pearl of Aesthetic offering aesthetic and plastic surgery and Preventicum which is a centre for cardiovascular medical science and preventive medicine.
This summer the hotel has put together a plan for guests to experience shopping like never before as ‘personal assistants’ arrange (with prior agreement) for luxury boutiques such as MCM, Louis Vuitton, Montblanc, Hugo Boss or Prada stay open past their regular hours, exclusively for guests of the Breidenbacher Hof.
This is a unique service concept of Capella Hotels and Resorts offering guests a trained ‘personal assistant’ to look after every need with a wide range of choices from a full-body massage at Schnitzler Beauty Lounge to traditional afternoon tea at the Lobby Lounge accompanied by a pianist. Dinner can be enjoyed at ‘1806’ with its elegant atmosphere and outstanding regional cuisine followed by drinks at The Capella Bar or, if you are a cigar enthusiast, then walk into the largest humidor in a European hotel and enjoy the selection of more than 124 cigars.
All this can be experienced at the hotel’s special summer rate from €250 ($309.5) for a standard room.
